What you are consenting to

To apply online you must consent to receive records electronically under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN). This covers disclosures, loan agreements, notices, statements, payment reminders, privacy notices, adverse action notices and any other communication we are required to give you in writing.

How we deliver records

  • By posting them in your online account, and notifying you by email that they are available
  • By email attachment or secure link
  • By SMS, where you have separately agreed and the record is suited to that format

Download or print electronic records you want to keep and retain copies for your files.

Hardware and software you need

  • A device with internet access and a current web browser
  • A valid email address that you check regularly
  • The ability to view and save PDF files
  • Sufficient storage or a printer to retain records

If our requirements change in a way that materially affects your ability to access records, we will notify you and give you the right to withdraw consent without charge.

Requesting paper copies

You may request a paper copy of any record at any time by calling Contact us or emailing [email protected]. [State whether a fee applies; many lenders provide paper copies free.] Requesting a paper copy does not withdraw your consent.

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us using the details above. Withdrawal takes effect once we have a reasonable period to act on it and does not affect the validity of records provided before that point. If you withdraw consent we may be unable to continue servicing your account online, and you may not be able to apply online.

Keeping your contact details current

You must tell us promptly if your email address, phone number or postal address changes. Call us or use contact us. Records sent to an out-of-date address you did not update are still treated as delivered.

Electronic signatures

When you click to accept a loan offer, you are signing that agreement electronically. Your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one, and the agreement is as enforceable as one signed on paper.

Scope of consent

Your consent applies to this application and to every account and communication with us until you withdraw it.
