Security

You are handing a lender your SSN and access to verify your bank. Here is what happens to that, and the six things we will never ask you for.

You are handing a lender your Social Security number, your income details and access to verify your bank account. This page explains what happens to that information, who can see it, and what we will never ask you for.

How your data is protected

  • In transit. Every page and form on this site uses TLS encryption. Look for the padlock and confirm the domain reads exactly loanforanypurposeusa.com.
  • At rest. Sensitive fields, including your Social Security number and bank details, are encrypted in our systems.
  • Access control. Staff access is limited by role. Not everyone who can help with a payment can see your full Social Security number.
  • Bank verification. Where we connect to your bank, the connection is read-only. We can see deposits and balances to verify income; we cannot move money from it other than the payments in your signed agreement.
  • Retention. Records are kept for the period federal and state law require, then securely destroyed.

What we will never do

We never…If it happens, it is not us
Ask for payment before funding a loanAdvance-fee scam
Ask for your online banking passwordCredential theft
Ask for remote access to your deviceFraud in progress
Request payment by gift card, wire or cryptocurrencyIrreversible by design
Call or text you unsolicited offering approvalLead-seller or impersonator
Email you a link asking you to re-enter bank detailsPhishing

If any of these happens in our name, tell us and read how to spot a loan scam.

Protecting yourself

  • Check the domain spelling before entering anything. Cloned sites use a hyphen, an extra letter or a different suffix.
  • Do not apply over public Wi-Fi without a VPN.
  • Use a unique password for your email, because it is the reset route for everything else.
  • Freeze your credit at all three bureaus when you are not actively applying. It is free and stops most new-account fraud.
  • Check your bank account after funding, and again after each scheduled payment.

If something goes wrong

If we identify a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law, explain what was affected, and set out what we are doing about it. If you believe your account has been compromised, call Contact us immediately.

What we do with your data

How information is collected, used and shared is set out in our privacy policy. California residents can also exercise rights under the CCPA.

Is my information safe when I apply?

Every page and form uses TLS encryption, sensitive fields including your Social Security number and bank details are encrypted at rest, and staff access is limited by role.

Can you take money from my bank account?

Only the payments set out in your signed agreement. Where we connect to your bank to verify income, that connection is read-only.

Will you ever ask for my online banking password?

No. Never. We also never ask for payment before funding, for remote access to your device, or for payment by gift card, wire or cryptocurrency. Any of those means it is not us.

What should I do if I think my account is compromised?

Contact our support team immediately, change any credentials you may have shared, and contact your bank. Report fraud to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
