Information we collect

Why we use it

- To assess your application, including income, affordability and creditworthiness
- To fund, service and collect loans, and to report payment history to consumer reporting agencies
- To prevent fraud and money laundering
- To comply with federal and state law, including recordkeeping and regulator reporting
- To communicate with you about your account and, where permitted, to market our own products
Who we share it with

Your choices
- Marketing. Opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link, and of texts by replying STOP: see the text message policy. You cannot opt out of servicing messages about an active loan.
- Cookies. Manage them through your browser settings. Some site functions will not work without them.
- State privacy rights. Residents of California and certain other states have rights to access, delete, correct and opt out: see the CCPA page.
- Federal privacy notice. Our Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act privacy notice, including any right to limit sharing with affiliates, is provided at application and annually.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active, and afterwards for the period federal and state law require, which is commonly the period required by applicable law and our record-retention policies. Records are then securely destroyed.
Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based staff access and read-only bank connections. Details on our security page. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Children
Our services are not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
